Janet Museveni Reappears: Natasha Karugire Shares Recovery Photos

First Lady Janet Kataaha Museveni has made a reassuring return to the public eye through newly shared social media photographs posted by her daughter, Natasha Museveni Karugire.

The images show the First Lady sharing a warm moment alongside Natasha, appearing in cheerful spirits as she continues her recovery. Accompanying the photographs, Natasha expressed her gratitude in a brief social media post stating, “Thank you, LORD Jesus!”

The update follows months of minimal public appearances by the First Lady, which had sparked widespread public concern and intense online speculation regarding her health status.

Her absence from key official engagements dates back to March 21, when she suffered a severe health complication. President Yoweri Museveni formally addressed the illness during a public address on June 24, revealing that his wife had survived a serious medical crisis.

Characterizing the sudden ailment as an attack by “Sitaane” (Satan), the President credited divine intervention alongside the dedicated work of medical specialists for her successful treatment and ongoing recuperation.

The shared visuals have brought significant relief to citizens, political figures, and well-wishers across Uganda who have been sending messages of solidarity and praying for her complete recovery.
