The long-simmering digital feud between dancehall artist Richard Kasendwa, famously known as Ziza Bafana, and Uganda National Musicians Federation (UNMF) President Eddy Kenzo has officially spilled off the internet and into the streets.
What began as a series of online criticisms escalated into a near-physical brawl at the premises of Galaxy FM this week, highlighting a growing and dangerous divide in the local entertainment industry.
The confrontation unfolded when Ziza Bafana arrived at Galaxy FM as an invited guest for their popular Zzina Bang segment. Flanked by his own entourage, his grand entrance was abruptly cut short by an intercepting gang. Eyewitnesses at the scene identified the hostile group as loyalists affiliated with Kenzo’s Big Talent Entertainment camp.
The gang reportedly cornered the dancehall star, aggressively warning him to cease his relentless social media attacks against their boss. The tension threatened to boil over into a full-scale brawl before Galaxy FM presenters, including veteran radio personality DJ Nimrod, stepped into the fray to de-escalate the standoff.
The physical confrontation has left a trail of bitter accusations, with Bafana pointing fingers not just at Kenzo, but at the host radio station itself.
In a heated phone conversation that surfaced online following the incident, a furious Bafana is heard lashing out at Galaxy FM presenter Marvin. The dancehall singer accused the station of orchestrating a trap under the guise of an interview, threatening that he was fully capable of destroying the station’s premises in retaliation for the alleged setup.

Driving the wedge deeper, Bafana has weaponized class lines in his ongoing feud with Kenzo. Taking to his TikTok account shortly after the scuffle, Bafana dismissed Kenzo’s “street credibility” entirely.
“Kenzo is not a ghetto guy and doesn’t have any ghetto lifestyle,” Bafana stated in the video. He argued that the BET Award winner is essentially an “uptown” artist who is merely exploiting desperate youth from the slums to fight his battles. “All the boys he is dealing with are all ghetto boys like me,” he added, attempting to appeal to the very gang sent to silence him.
The most alarming development from the Galaxy FM scuffle is Bafana’s vow of retaliation. Seemingly unbothered by the warning, the Pomini hitmaker officially declared that the battle lines have been drawn.
Accusing Kenzo of directly funding the ambush, Bafana issued a stark warning that he is ready to match the aggression, raising fears of retaliatory gang violence within the music fraternity.
“You paid those boys money to engage in a war that they have no idea about,” Bafana warned on TikTok. “You sent them to me, but I think you want blood to flow because those are not machines. We will retaliate.”
Neither Eddy Kenzo nor Big Talent management has issued an official statement regarding the Galaxy FM altercation or Bafana’s subsequent threats.
