Adjumani District Election Administrator Akao Eunice Christine revealed that Adjumani West Constituency comprises five sub-counties, 23 parishes, 99 villages, and 114 polling stations. She also confirmed that elections for the Female Older Persons Representative for Pachara Sub-County will be conducted alongside the parliamentary poll after no candidates emerged during the general elections.
Local political figures and security officers expressed readiness to support a smooth process:
Daniel Izale (Patriotic League of Uganda – PLU): Endorsed by the PLU, Izale pledged to run a peaceful campaign, calling on opponents to respect the political choices of Adjumani West voters.
Patrick Tandrupasi (Independent): Urged the Electoral Commission to maintain a level playing field for all contestants regardless of political affiliation.
James Leku Pilli (Aspiring Candidate): Emphasized that full transparency in tallying and logistics would build public confidence in the final outcome.
