The ongoing hunt for veteran entertainment entrepreneur and former Obsessions music group manager Ronnie Mulindwa has taken a dark and complex twist.
The Uganda Police Force’s Directorate of Crime Intelligence has uncovered what investigators describe as a highly sophisticated, multi-district online prostitution and adult streaming operation run from the heart of Kampala.
The breakthrough follows a meticulously planned weekend raid on a heavily guarded building in Kampala, which resulted in the immediate arrest of 27 young women who were allegedly participating in the illicit scheme.
According to forensic investigators, the facility was being utilized to film and live-stream adult content to audiences abroad.
The young women, many of whom had been systematically recruited from various districts including Mukono, Kampala, Lyantonde, Wakiso, Masaka, and parts of the Busoga sub-region—were reportedly required to strip on camera for international digital streaming networks.
Among those arrested during the targeted dragnet was Vivian Gobera, whom intelligence officials identified as Mulindwa’s girlfriend. During interrogation, Gobera provided investigators with crucial insights into how the network maintained its absolute secrecy.
She revealed that the recruited women were instantly assigned entirely new identities and pseudonyms to ensure that their relatives, friends, and acquaintances in Uganda would not recognize them online.
Furthermore, Gobera disclosed that the cyber-operation explicitly targeted high-paying clients in Western nations. To avoid local detection and domestic legal pushback, access to the streaming servers and portals was completely geoblocked in Uganda and neighboring East African countries.

The scope of the investigation, however, stretches far beyond digital screens. Crime Intelligence agents have established that the ring also operated an underground escort service within the country.
Several of the rescued or detained women were allegedly hired out to entertain ultra-wealthy clients at highly exclusive private parties hosted in upscale neighborhoods across Kampala, Wakiso, and Mukono.
Investigators also uncovered evidence indicating that other women from the ring were regularly dispatched to top-tier, high-end luxury hotels within the metropolitan area to entertain international guests.
Three Main Suspects on the Run
Kampala Metropolitan Police spokesperson Rachel Kawala confirmed that security forces have significantly intensified their tracking efforts to locate the masterminds of the syndicate, who managed to evade capture just before the raid.
Kawala stated that authorities have arrested a security guard who was guarding the location, and investigations are ongoing.
Authorities allege that Ronnie Mulindwa sat at the apex of the illegal network, operating it alongside two key accomplices: a man identified as Martin Male, and a woman known only by the alias Zeisha. The trio remains at large and is believed to be actively hiding out to evade arrest.
As Crime Intelligence operatives piece together the digital footprints, financial transactions, and server logs used to run the lucrative vice hub, the police have issued an urgent public appeal for any information regarding the whereabouts of Mulindwa, Male, and Zeisha.
