Upcoming Ugandan singer Kin Bella bared her soul in a moving interview, sharing the deep hurt she faced after her father’s death. Instead of finding love and support from her father’s family, she was met with cold rejection that changed her life.

Bella described how her world flipped after losing her dad. “I saw the worst after my dad died. It hurt more because it was coming from people who were supposed to love and take care of me,” she said.

Her aunt, who raised her, shockingly told her to leave and “find her real dad,” claiming they owed her nothing. “My real aunty told me to go because they started life at my age. She pushed me out,” Bella recalled, her voice heavy with pain.

The cruelty pushed Bella to rethink her path. She ditched the club scene, feeling out of place as a virgin among “touchy men.” “That’s when I decided to stop partying in the club. I didn’t like being there,” she shared. 

A friend’s help landed Bella a job at KFC in 2019, a time when she should’ve been at university. That gig became her lifeline, giving her stability amid the chaos. Now, as she builds her music career, Bella’s story of overcoming family betrayal resonates deeply.
