Vinka Debunks Swangz Avenue Favoritism Rumors, Highlights Fair Artist Plans

Vinka shuts down claims of favoritism at Swangz Avenue, says artists’ yearly plans guide their releases, not label bias.

Ugandan singer Vinka, real name Nakiyingi Veronica Lugya, tackled rumors of favoritism at Swangz Avenue in a TV interview. She denied claims that some artists get special treatment over others at the label. 

The Bailando star stressed that Swangz Avenue runs a fair game, and she’s setting the record straight for Uganda’s music scene.

Vinka explained that every Swangz Avenue artist submits their own yearly plan, outlining their music goals.

“Everyone has their time to shine; when the year starts, everyone has their own plans, and that’s how we do it,” she said.

The singer called out the gossip for causing trouble. “People have become a problem to us. All the time, they say one of us is being favored more than the other, and we don’t know what to do,” she said.

Vinka insisted that what fans see, whether a big release or performance is planned, not a sign of bias.
