Eddy Kenzo Opens Up on Respecting Bobi Wine Despite Political Tensions

Eddy Kenzo shares he still respects Bobi Wine despite political differences, addressing their rift in a candid interview. Full story!

Ugandan music star Eddy Kenzo got real about his bond with Bobi Wine in a recent interview with BBS TV. He admitted they’ve had some issues but said he still looks up to Bobi as an elder. They built their music careers side by side, which keeps Kenzo’s respect strong.

Kenzo explained that Bobi Wine’s leap into politics caused tension. He felt Bobi pushed artists to back his political moves without a choice. Kenzo wasn’t okay with that pressure. He chose to focus on his own music career instead. Bobi’s TV critiques of artists without direct talks added to the strain.

Still, Kenzo doesn’t fault Bobi for opposing the government. He said it’s fine for Bobi to do his work, as it’s not against the law. Kenzo respects Bobi’s right to his path, just as he follows his own. Both have their own duties to handle.
