Haffy Powers Steps Back from TV After Foot Fracture, Shares Recovery Journey

Sanyuka TV’s Haffy Powers takes a break from ‘Morning Xpress’ due to a foot fracture from a stair fall, urging fans for prayers.

Beloved Ugandan media personality Haffy Powers, the vibrant host of Sanyuka TV’s Morning Xpress, has announced a temporary hiatus from television following a painful foot injury. In a heartfelt social media post, Haffy revealed she suffered a fracture after slipping off stairs on Sunday morning, August 3, 2025. The news has sparked an outpouring of support from fans and followers across Uganda.

Sharing glimpses of her ordeal, Haffy posted a video showing herself being carried, unable to move without assistance, alongside clips capturing moments before and after her successful surgery. “Slipped off the stairs Sunday morning,” she wrote. “It was a fracture, but it could’ve been worse. Surgery went well, but I’ll be off air for a bit to let my leg heal fully. Keep those prayers coming, and excuse my typos!” Her candidness and resilience have struck a chord with her audience.

The injury’s severity means Haffy will take a break from her high-energy TV role, prioritizing recovery to return stronger. Her fans have flooded social media with warm messages, wishing her a speedy healing process and praising her positivity. The Morning Xpress community eagerly awaits her comeback, but for now, Haffy’s focus is on mending.
