TikTok Star Jayden Hospitalized with Life-Threatening Oxygen Crash in Aplastic Anaemia Battle

Beloved TikTok sensation Timothy Kayanja, known to millions as Jayden, was rushed to TMR Hospital in Nalya today in a heart-stopping medical emergency as his battle with Aplastic Anaemia took a dangerous turn.

The 24-year-old content creator, whose hilarious skits on Ugandan culture went viral in late 2024, has been fighting the rare bone marrow disorder that halts blood cell production, leaving him prone to life-threatening infections. With just three months to secure a bone marrow transplant abroad—costing between UGX 80M and UGX 200M—Jayden’s condition worsened dramatically overnight.

Care coordinator and media personality Zubeda Byantalo confirmed the scare: Jayden grew alarmingly weak, prompting an immediate ambulance run to TMR. Initial checks showed his blood oxygen saturation crashing to 86%—a severe hypoxemia reading far below the healthy 95-100% norm, signaling his body was starving for air.

The public plea continues: donate via his GoFundMe or MTN Mobile Money (0783 123 456) to hit that transplant target. Uganda’s holding its breath for one of its own.

“Doctors are stabilizing him now and running urgent tests to pinpoint the infection and shore up his breathing,” Byantalo shared. “It’s touch and go, but TMR has stepped up big time, offering full free care until we get him to Nairobi for donor matching with his brother next week.”

Jayden’s story exploded after Bruno K’s Ekiboozi TikTok live raised UGX 50M last week, with Bebe Cool and others pledging more.  From village Christmas rants that birthed his “Jayden” persona to sharp social commentary, he’s captured hearts but now, he’s fighting for his life.
