The song, a fan favorite since its July release, had climbed to over 1 million views with its vibrant video directed by Simon SPK. Its sudden removal left fans reeling and sparked a wave of questions about what went wrong.

“Ngenderera” lit up Uganda’s airwaves with its infectious Afro-pop beat and heartfelt lyrics about love and chasing dreams. By August, it was a staple on various TV stations earning praise as a game-changer for Willar Stary and Kataleya & Kandle.
The song’s universal appeal made it a go-to anthem, with fans singing along at shows and streaming it nonstop. Its meteoric rise put the artists on the map, but this week’s takedown has thrown a wrench in their momentum, leaving supporters hungry for answers.
