Ugandan TikToker Pressure 24/7 (Musana Ibrahim) has been remanded to Luzira Prison until March 26, 2026, following allegations of hate speech and data misuse against Gen. Muhoozi Kainerugaba.
In a dramatic turn of events, controversial TikTok personality Pressure 24/7, legally identified as Musana Ibrahim, has been ordered back to Luzira Prison following a court appearance today at the City Hall Court in Kampala.
The magistrate has set his return to court for March 26, 2026, ensuring the social media firebrand will remain behind bars for the immediate future.Pressure 24/7 was taken into custody several days ago following an outcry over his recent content strategy, which allegedly shifted from entertainment to political slander.

According to court documents, the TikToker utilized his significant online reach to publish content deemed detrimental to the reputation of General Muhoozi Kainerugaba, the Chief of Defence Forces (CDF) and a prominent political figure. The prosecution alleges that Pressure deliberately superimposed General Muhoozi’s images alongside audio and text captions asserting that the General was “unfit to hold public office.”
Authorities argue that these statements overstep the bounds of free expression and into the realm of criminal liability, specifically under laws governing hate speech and the unauthorized use of personal data.

Appearing before the magistrate today, March 11, 2026, Pressure 24/7 faced charges pertaining to accessing and publishing personal data without authority, as well as charges of hate speech. Dressed in a prison uniform, the digital creator pleaded not guilty to all counts.Despite his plea, the presiding magistrate denied bail and remanded the accused to the custody of Luzira Prison, where he will remain until the next hearing.
This latest legal battle marks a recurring theme for Pressure 24/7; he was previously arrested and detained in 2024 on strikingly similar allegations, highlighting his ongoing friction with the law regarding his online commentary.
The case has reignited debate regarding the boundaries of digital expression in Uganda, as followers and legal analysts await the 26th March 2026 hearing to see how the evidence unfolds.
