The Ugandan entertainment scene is in mourning following the sudden passing of beloved Video Jockey (VJ) Musa, a legendary figure known for his captivating movie translations on ABS TV.
VJ Musa, celebrated for his exceptional talent in dubbing popular international series like Nagininto Luganda, played a pivotal role in boosting ABS TV’s ratings and making foreign films accessible and entertaining for local audiences. His unique style, humor, and voice made him one of the most respected VJs in the industry.
Tragically, after a prolonged struggle with diabetes-related complications, VJ Musa passed away on December 29, 2025.
Tributes have flooded social media from fans, fellow VJs, colleagues, and film lovers across Uganda, highlighting the irreplaceable void his death leaves in the veejaying and translated movie community.
Burial arrangements have not yet been announced, but updates will follow as details emerge from the family.
