Mesach Semakula Tells His Kids To Never Touch His Property

Ugandan Veteran Singer Mesach Semakula decided to make things crystal clear for his children during the ‘Senkoole Family’ gathering to celebrate Haruna Mubiru’s daughter, Remmy Mubiru, who graduated from the Islamic University in Uganda.

He told off his children that everything he owns, all the property and money he’s worked for, belongs only to him and his wife Sarah Nakayi. They’ve been together almost 20 years, and that’s how it stays.

Mesach pointed out how some children these days act like they already own their parents’ stuff, even getting upset if the parents sell something. He’s not letting that happen in his home.

“If I decide to sell land and get myself a nice Benz one day, that’s my call. You don’t get to complain,” he told them. “Want a house or car? Go out and work for it like I did.”

He went on to say that if any of his kids choose not to take school seriously, that’s their personal choice, but it won’t change his stance. He’s not planning to hand out his hard-earned wealth just because someone shares his blood. Instead, he wants them to go out, study, work, and create their own success, just like he did.
