Ykee Benda Survives Scary Car Crash While Heading to Museveni Rally in Kyegegwa

Mpaka Records CEO and singer Ykee Benda is counting his blessings after walking away from a frightening car accident en route to perform at President Museveni’s campaign in Kyegegwa District.

The “Singa” hitmaker says the vehicle lost control at a sharp corner, failed to brake properly, and slammed into a roadside barricade. The passenger side took the heaviest damage.

“I hit my head on the dashboard and twisted my left hand a bit,” Ykee told reporters by phone. “My team is shaken but okay. We were rushed to hospital for first aid — just minor injuries. God gave us another chance at life.”

Ykee Benda and his team survived a nasty car crash en route to Kyegegwa.

Moments after the crash, the singer posted on X: “Thank you Jesus for sparing us today. Sharp corner in Kyegegwa almost ended everything. Grateful to be alive.”

Photos circulating online show the mangled car with a crumpled front and shattered glass, yet remarkably everyone inside escaped serious harm.

Ykee and his crew still managed to reach the rally venue later, where he performed despite the ordeal.
