Big Eye Speaks Out After Losing NUP Ticket for Nansana MP Race

Big Eye disappointed after losing NUP ticket to Zambaali Bulasio but vows to continue serving Nansana with or without party flag.

Musician Big Eye Starboss has finally broken his silence after missing the National Unity Platform (NUP) flag for the 2026 Nansana Municipality parliamentary seat, which instead went to journalist Zambaali Bulasio.

The “Ndi Single” singer had thrown himself fully into grassroots mobilization, building a strong following who believed he was the perfect candidate. “Most people thought I deserved it,” Big Eye said. “They saw my daily work, my commitment to the community, and they were shocked when I didn’t get the ticket.”

Despite the disappointment, Big Eye is taking it in stride. “It hurt, but it’s also a lesson,” he admitted. “Politics teaches you patience and strategy. I’ve learned a lot about how decisions are made behind closed doors.”

He insists the setback won’t stop him. “Whether with a party flag or not, I’ll keep serving the people of Nansana. My work doesn’t end because one door closed.”

Fans have flooded his pages with encouragement, many urging him to run as an independent or wait for the next chance. Big Eye thanked them for the support and promised to reveal his next political move soon.
