Ugandan singer Spice Diana is speaking out for events promoter Biggie Events, who landed in Luzira Prison over an unpaid Shs 70 million loan. In a touching interview, Spice called Biggie a hardworking woman who’s always kind to others.
“I don’t know most of her friends, but I know her personally. When I had issues, she called to check on me. I feel sorry for her, and it is too bad. I pray God helps her to come out of it,” Spice said.

Biggie Events got remanded earlier this week for failing to pay the loan, sparking sympathy from the industry. Spice sees it as a wake-up call for entrepreneurs.
“I feel sorry for a woman who tries to start something for herself, only for it to go sideways,” she added. Spice knows the hustle firsthand, as many in showbiz rely on loans to grow.

Spice isn’t just talking, she’s acting. “I saw they want 70 million. That is why I would like to visit her and see what we can do. I also call upon everyone who has worked with her and is her friend to stand with her,” she said.
She shared her own loan burdens: “I have huge loans. We do business in loans. You cannot avoid it if you are developing yourself. But too bad for her. I will do what I can.”
