Ava Peace Names Winnie Nwagi as True Music Idol, Shuts Down Sheebah Rivalry Talk

Ava Peace credits Winnie Nwagi for inspiring her music, denies Sheebah comparisons and feud rumors.

Rising Ugandan singer Ava Peace is putting rumors to rest about her music roots. Many fans thought she was built to rival Sheebah Karungi, especially with Sheebah’s ex-manager Jeff Kiwa in her corner.

But Ava says no, her real inspiration is Winnie Nwagi. “People keep saying I’m like Sheebah, but my inspiration has always been Winnie Nwagi,” she declared.

Ava gives big props to Winnie Nwagi’s style and energy as her guide. She respects Sheebah but insists she’s carving her own lane. The Omwana We Buddu star laughed off the idea that she’s a Sheebah clone. “I respect Sheebah, but I follow my own path,” she said.

Ava also squashed talk of bad blood with Sheebah. “The tension online is mostly created by fans,” she said. She wants artists celebrated for their unique vibes, not dragged into fake rivalries.
