King Saha volunteers to head UNMF, vows to fight for copyright law and artist protections if Eddy Kenzo quits.
“Ebiseera Ebyo” singer King Saha is stepping up, saying he’s ready to take the helm of the Uganda National Musicians Federation (UNMF) if current president Eddy Kenzo bows out.
The veteran artist who once ran for Uganda Musicians Association (UMA) presidency declared his passion for fighting for musicians is stronger than ever.

Saha made it clear that money from the government isn’t his focus. “We need the copyright law and then start looking at policies and monitoring,” he said. He’s laser-focused on long-delayed legal protections for artists’ work, not handouts.

If handed the reins, Saha promised to march straight to Parliament to demand action. “I’m still available, and if they overwhelmed, let them hand over to me and I’ll demand for it in the right way—even up to Parliament,” Saha declared.
He’s not waiting for permission, he’s ready to push reforms that safeguard musicians’ creativity and income. With years in the game, Saha says Ugandan artists deserve institutional muscle to thrive, not just survive.
