Alien Skin Fights to Save Fangone Forest Label from Trademark Theft Claim

Alien Skin battles businessman Aaron Aguma over Fangone Forest Entertainment trademark, faces 42-day deadline to prove ownership.

Ugandan singer Alien Skin, born Patrick Mulwana, is in a fierce fight to keep his Fangone Forest Entertainment label from being snatched away.

On October 15, 2025, businessman Aaron Aguma Agumikiriza filed a claim at the Uganda Registration Services Bureau (URSB), saying he legally owns the name. He registered and trademarked it after Alien Skin’s career kicked off in 2021.

Aguma, calling himself the director of Fangone Forest Entertainment Ltd, said he secured the trademark legally. He wants to use the name for his own ventures, claiming it’s his since registration.

Alien Skin’s team fired back with a Notice of Intention to Oppose the Trademark Application. They argue Alien Skin has used the name for four years, building a massive fanbase that links it to his music and crew.

Alien Skin’s lawyers, Patrick Shyaka & Co. Advocates, say Aguma’s use of the name would trick fans into thinking he’s tied to the singer. It could hurt Alien Skin’s brand and mislead the public.

The URSB gave Alien Skin 42 days from October 15, 2025, to submit proof of his prior use and ownership. If he doesn’t, his opposition gets dropped.

In a Sanyuka TV chat, Alien Skin said he’s not stressing over court fights. “I’m not ready for back-and-forth in court; I’ll sit back and watch what happens,” he said.
