Baba TV’s Pretty Nicole calls out Vyroota, Alien Skin, and Cindy for lacking vision, criticizes short-term focus in Uganda’s music scene.
Baba TV presenter Pretty Nicole set Uganda’s music scene ablaze with her bold comments on The Bang Show. Known for stirring controversy, she didn’t hold back, accusing local artists like Vyroota, Alien Skin, and Cindy of lacking the foresight needed for long-term success. She argued that too many musicians are caught up in chasing fleeting trends instead of crafting careers that endure.

Nicole’s main gripe is that artists prioritize what’s hot right now over building a legacy. “They barely plan for their future. They focus on what’s trending instead of things that would last a long time,” she said, emphasizing the need for vision.
She pointed to Alien Skin’s rejection of a collaboration with Tanzanian superstar Diamond Platnumz as a prime example of a missed opportunity. That choice, she argued, could have elevated his career to new heights but instead left him fading.

Nicole didn’t stop at career choices; she also took aim at Alien Skin’s personal circle, questioning why a star of his caliber still hangs with what she called low-class friends. “How does a star like that still move with boys who shower with blue soap?” she asked, implying his crew doesn’t match his past fame.
