Producer Didi Opens Up on Tramadol Addiction Battle After Rehab Recovery

Music producer Didi shares his struggle with tramadol addiction from hospital treatment, warns youth about painkiller dangers.

Ugandan music producer Didi bared his soul in an interview, about his fight with drug addiction. After a year and a half in rehab, he’s back, healthy, and ready to share his story.

His addiction didn’t start with street drugs but with tramadol, a painkiller prescribed for his pancreas issues.

Didi’s troubles began with hospital treatment. “It all started when I had pancreas problems. I was put on a tramadol drip. It’s super addictive, more dangerous than people think,” he said.

What started as pain relief turned into a full-blown addiction. He stopped eating and lived for the drug, showing how even prescribed meds can take over.

After a year of dependency, Didi saw tramadol’s dark side. “I got so used to it that I wasn’t eating anymore. Tramadol is very dangerous. Many young people are falling into its trap without knowing the damage,” he warned.

He pointed out that painkillers, not just weed, are landing youth in rehab. Now recovered, Didi is determined to help others. “Modern painkillers from hospitals are silent culprits behind addiction,” he said.
