Sheebah Karungi opens up about juggling motherhood and music after her son Amir’s birth, facing clingy moments and balance issues.
Ugandan star Sheebah Karungi got real about her life as a new mom. After welcoming her son Amir late last year, she took a six-month break from music to focus on motherhood. Now back on stage, the Queen Karma singer admitted it’s tough to balance her career and parenting.

Sheebah shared that her biggest challenge is her son clinging to her when work calls. “Sometimes he refuses to let me go,” she said, noting it’s a struggle many moms face. The demands of motherhood have changed her body and mind, making it hard to juggle stage life.

Despite the challenges, Sheebah is optimistic. “Honestly, I was scared because giving birth changes everything in a woman’s life. It’s still not easy to balance both, but I’ll be fine,” she said. She’s working to adapt to her dual roles as a mom and artist.
