The altercation erupted at Garvin’s home around 7 PM, allegedly sparked by accusations of infidelity. Geraldine Namono, identified as his second girlfriend, is accused of stabbing him in the back during a heated scuffle. Neighbors rushed to help as Garvin fled the house, bleeding heavily. Despite efforts to rush him to Mbale Regional Referral Hospital on a boda boda, he was pronounced dead on arrival.

Eyewitness Munira, a neighbor, recounted the chaos: “I heard noise outside and saw Garvin running toward the gate, fighting for his life. We tried to get him to the hospital quickly.” The tragedy underscores rising concerns about domestic violence in Uganda, with police launching a full investigation into the motive and circumstances.
