Producer Big Davie reveals shocking details behind Sheebah’s ‘Nobody’ and Ava Peace & Jowy Landa’s ‘No One’ song dispute. Uncover the drama!
Uganda’s music scene is reeling from a heated song ownership dispute involving Sheebah Karungi, Ava Peace, and Jowy Landa. Sheebah, building hype for her The Return of the Queen concert on August 22, 2025, announced two new tracks, Somebody and Nobody. While Somebody is already out, Nobody was overshadowed when Ava Peace and Jowy Landa released No One—a track that mirrors Sheebah’s unreleased song.

The uncanny overlap between Nobody and No One sent shockwaves through social media, with fans debating who owns the track and how it landed with both artists. The controversy has sparked intense online discussions, leaving netizens hungry for answers.
In a bombshell interview, producer Big Davie, the mastermind behind No One, broke his silence on the mix-up. He revealed that the song’s demo was created with lyricist Lyrical Tazzy and voicer Latty Wizzy.
“The three of us built it,” Davie said. “Latty Wizzy asked for a song, and as my friend, I gave it to him. He sold it to Sheebah for Shs 450,000.” Unknowingly, Lyrical Tazzy also pitched the track to music manager Jeff Kiwa. “Tazzy said Jeff liked it, so I sent it, not realizing it was already with Sheebah,” Davie explained.
Jeff Kiwa moved forward, recording No One with Ava Peace and Jowy Landa and securing an official receipt. “I gave Jeff a receipt and paid Latty Wizzy, but the song was sold to both sides by mistake,” Davie admitted.
This accidental double-dealing has fans split and the artists locked in a tense standoff. As Sheebah prepares for her big concert, Big Davie’s revelation adds a dramatic twist to her comeback story. Will this clash dim her spotlight, or can the parties resolve the confusion? Uganda’s music scene is on edge, awaiting the next chapter.
