Winnie Nwagi Stands Firm, Demands Respect from Fans at Concerts

Ugandan music sensation Winnie Nwagi has taken a bold stand against disrespectful behavior at her performances, reaffirming her commitment to fostering a respectful and disciplined fan base. In a candid interview, the “Fire Baby” star made it clear that she’s willing to lose fans if it means maintaining order and mutual respect at her shows.

“I’m focused on building a disciplined fan base,” Nwagi declared. “If there are troublemakers among my supporters, I’ll weed them out like stones from rice and set them aside. I’d rather have a smaller, respectful audience than tolerate chaos.”

Known for her fiery personality and unapologetic attitude, Nwagi addressed inappropriate fan behavior, particularly unwanted physical contact during her performances.

“You can’t come to my show, act out, and expect me to stay calm,” she stated. “Were you raised to touch our thighs on stage? That’s unacceptable. Save that behavior for elsewhere—it won’t be tolerated here.”

Her remarks follow previous incidents where she confronted disruptive fans head-on, earning both praise and criticism. Despite the backlash, Nwagi remains unwavering, emphasizing that respect is a two-way street.

“If you expect discipline from your artists, you must bring the same energy as a fan,” she asserted.
